[University of New Mexico Women’s Soccer Mexican Resort Vacation Raffle]

Participation constitutes entrant’s full and conditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. UNM Women’s Soccer Mexican Resort Vacation Raffle commences on September 5th, 2024 at 6:00 AM Mountain Time (MT) and ends on November 3rd, 2024 at 11:59 PM MT (“Raffle Period”). Entries received after the expiration of the Raffle Period will not be accepted.

 

ELIGIBILITY: 

 

Open only those who are at least 21 years of age or older at the time of entry and is void where prohibited by law.

HOW TO ENTER:

There are two ways to enter: (a) purchase a raffle ticket in person at a UNM Women’s Soccer home game in Albuquerque, New Mexico, or (b) make a donation online and be automatically entered (there is also a free method of entry available online which does not support UNM, the Soccer program, or any of the students). Contact information provided will be used to notify the winner of potential winnings, provided however that by entering, each entrant grants UNM permission to contact the entrant at the listed contact information in order to provide the entrant with information regarding the raffle. Such permission may be revoked at any time. There is no limit on the number of entrees per person.

GRAND PRIZE:

Entrants will have a chance of winning one of two prizes. Prize winners will be randomly drawn from among all eligible entries received through the Raffle Period on November 4th, 2024.

A Cash Prize consists of:

  • Grand prize (1): $2,000
  • Second place price (1): $500

Cash prize winners will be notified via e-mail which will include all information necessary to redeem the cash prize. The winning e-mail will expire if not redeemed four weeks following notification of winning.

GRAND PRIZE DRAWING:
 
The potential prize winners will be randomly selected on November 4, 2024. Winners will be drawn from all valid entries received during the Raffle Period. The winner will be notified within fourteen (14) calendar days of the drawing date via email, phone or certified mail according to the contact information as provided by prize winner. The drawing process will utilize a helicopter drop of numbered and colored golf balls, or a random number generator to select each prize winner from a list of all entries. If for any reason the prize winner(s) cannot be reached after reasonable attempts have been made, in the sole discretion of UNM, the prizes will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by random drawing among remaining eligible entries.

 

GENERAL:  

 

By participating in the raffle, entrants agree to these Official Rules and to all decisions of UNM, which are final and legally binding in all respects, and further agree that the Certificates are awarded upon the condition that the entrants hereby expressly agree that UNM, its regents, employees and agents, officers, shall have no liability whatsoever and shall be held harmless for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind to persons or property, including death, sustained, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with or resulting from acceptance, possession or use/misuse of the Certificates or the participation in the Raffle. 

 

Any entrant who attempts to participate with multiple e-mail and/or street addresses, under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter the raffle in violation of these Official Rules may be disqualified by UNM in its sole discretion.  Any use of robotic, repetitive, automatic, programmed or similar entry methods or agents will void all entries made by, or associated with, the applicable entrant.  In the event of a dispute over who submitted an entry, the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account provided in connection with the entry, as of the actual time of entry, will be deemed to be the entrant.  The “authorized account subscriber” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g. business, education, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.  A selected or potential winning “authorized account subscriber” may be required to provide UNM with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the applicable entry. UNM is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, incorrect, delayed, garbled, undelivered, or misdirected, entries. UNM will not confirm receipt of entries.

 

By accepting the cash prize, prize winners agree that UNM may use such prize winner's name, likeness or photograph, without limitation, for promotional purposes without further consideration or payment, to the extent permitted by law. The Certificate(s) are not transferable. No cash or other substitutions allowed except at UNM’s sole discretion or as otherwise provided herein. UNM reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any of the advertised Certificates become unavailable.

 

UNM’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Should any provision of these Official Rules be deemed unenforceable or invalid, the other provisions of these Official Rules shall remain in full force and effect. In the event that the Raffle is challenged by any legal or regulatory authority (including but not limited to any federal or provincial or state governmental authority), UNM reserves the right to discontinue or modify the Raffle, as applicable, or to disqualify any Raffle entrants residing in any affected geographic areas, as applicable.

 

 

Request for Name of Prize Winners and Official Rules: For the name of the prize winners and/or Official Rules, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Colleen J. Maloof Administration Building Attn: Women’s Soccer 1 University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, NM. Prize winners list will be sent out after January 1, 2023 by request.
